In the midst the COVID-19 outbreak we pray that you and your families are safe and resting in God’s abundant provision. We want to assure you that Rod and Staff Ministries is continuing in its mission to prepare individuals to use God’s Word to help people see that he is sufficient for any problem they might encounter.

“Rod and Staff Ministries (RSM) is passionate about equipping the churches to help the saints live above circumstance. Our commission is not to counsel for the churches, but to equip the churches to counsel their people with the hope-giving, joy producing, God-honoring, living Word.”

To that end, we are currently continuing our semester one and two classes online with live teaching via the internet and uploaded recorded content. We are also continuing supervision; Jim Fain (Executive Director of RSM) has 20 people with whom he meets weekly online to review case reports, give feedback, and instruct on biblical passages as they continue their journey towards ACBC certification as Biblical counselors. Josh Stegall (Assistant Director of RSM) is teaching classes and doing extensive counseling as he works toward ACBC certification as a Fellow. Counseling is currently being be conducted via telephone or online. Our staff is working from home and continues to monitor the RSM website and any application for counseling remotely. These requests can then be distributed to our current counselors or those working to become certified.

So, though the tools that we are using have changed somewhat, the mission of RSM continues. We appreciate and depend upon your prayers and financial support to move our ministry forward in His service. We can’t do this without your help.
