Come be Trained to Counsel The Words of Life

Beloved,

The Bible has Words of life.  You have access to words of life!  Moses said just this to the children of Israel:

Deuteronomy 32:46-47
46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words by which I am warning you today, that you may command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law.  47 For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

We have the Words of LIFE.  If your friend is depressed, if your sister is anxious, if your dad is angry–you have words of LIFE for them from the Bible.  Wouldn’t you want all those you love to draw near to Jesus? Through the Word of God they can.  You can be the instrument to bring these words of life to those in suffering–to those you love.

Come be trained to counsel the Words of life to those you love.  You are a counselor already–there is NO escaping that fact.  When trials come to you or those you love, will you be ready and able to give words of life?
